Concussion Part 2

Just following on from the last blog post on concussion, here are a few bits of information for you. The links to the articles are at bottom are to the guidelines on concussion for both the GAA and IRFU, they are short and to the point so give them a look. Also included is a nice animated 5 minute video which explains concussion, nothing too complicated and a great one to show to children. 

As a society we need to take it far more seriously. I know from working with teams that it's not. There are blood subs in GAA but not for potential brain damage. Players and management at all levels or sport need to have a talk about this and many of them need to cut the macho crap and cop on.
